We need very little — and what we make from it lasts forever.
A lock of hair
- 1 g Hair — about the size of a small lock. Hair is 45–50% carbon, more than enough to grow a 1-carat diamond. Cut on the day of the moment you want to preserve.
- 2 g+ For pair diamonds — collect 1 gram from each partner. We grow two stones in parallel, each containing the carbon of one half of the bond.
- ↑ Larger sizes require proportionally more material. Our team will confirm the exact quantity for the size you choose.
Your finished diamond

Contact our team and we'll walk you through every option — carat size, colour, cut, and whether you'd like a single stone or a pair.
Send Your Sample
Cut and send approximately 1 gram of hair (or 1 gram each, for a pair). We provide simple, dignified packaging on request, and log every parcel with a unique traceability code on arrival.
Extract Carbon
Our laboratory purifies the carbon from your hair, isolating it from everything else, ready for the growth stage.
Grow the Diamond
Inside our CVD reactor, carbon atoms are deposited layer by layer onto a seed crystal over several weeks to months — building your diamond, atom by atom.
Cut & Polish
Master craftsmen shape the rough diamond to your chosen specifications and hand-polish the stone for maximum brilliance.
IGI Certification & Delivery
The finished stone is submitted to IGI for independent certification, then delivered to you with its full report and traceability documentation. Set into jewellery, if you choose.
