Why We Stopped Accepting Lab-Grown Diamond Guest Posts
Over the past year almost every guest post request we received was in English, and most followed the same pattern: a generic pitch, an article that read as AI-generated, and a request for a link back. Very few came from people who had ever graded, bought or sold a diamond.
No first-hand expertise
Reliable diamond advice comes from handling stones and reading real IGI and GIA reports, not from rewriting other websites.
Readers make costly decisions
Someone choosing an engagement ring deserves advice they can trust. One wrong figure on clarity or price can cost them hundreds.
Mass-produced AI content
Most submissions were near-identical articles sent to many sites at once. Publishing them would add nothing a reader cannot find elsewhere.
Links for ranking
Google's spam policies treat guest posts written mainly for links as link spam, which can harm both sites.
How Our Lab-Grown Diamond Guides Are Written Now
Every article is written by the MadisonDia editorial team, people who source and inspect diamonds for our shop every week, and reviewed by MIHO before it goes live. We cite primary sources such as IGI and GIA, show real prices, and explain technical terms such as "3EX" or "VVS" in plain words, because most of our readers are buying a diamond for the first time.
Guest Post and Link Requests We Will Not Reply To
- Guest post or "write for us" pitches in any language other than Japanese
- Sponsored posts, paid articles or advertorial offers
- Paid link insertions into existing articles
- Ready-made or AI-generated articles offered free of charge
- SEO, backlink or content-writing service offers

Japanese-Language Writers: Our One Exception
Japan is one of MadisonDia's most important markets, and Japanese readers ask about things a writer outside Japan rarely covers well: local engagement-ring customs, K18 and K9 gold notation, and what buying from a Hong Kong brand involves for customers in Japan. For that reason we still welcome original articles written in Japanese by writers living in Japan.

Does MadisonDia accept guest posts?

Can I pay for a sponsored post or a backlink?
No. We do not sell sponsored posts or links. Offers of this kind are not answered.
Why are Japanese writers an exception?
Japan is one of our key markets, and writers who live there bring first-hand knowledge of Japanese bridal customs and buying habits that our Japanese readers value. Submissions must be written in Japanese by writers living in Japan.
I write in English but live in Japan. Can I submit?
Only if the article itself is written in Japanese. We are not accepting English-language guest posts from any country.
Will you reply if I send a pitch anyway?
No. To keep our inbox clear for customers, guest post and paid-link requests outside the Japanese programme are deleted without a reply.
