We want every MadisonDia purchase to feel completely right. Your return options depend on what you buy — loose diamonds, ready-made jewellery, or custom pieces — so here's exactly how each one works.
Loose diamonds — 30-day cash refund, no questions asked
Return any loose diamond within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. No reason needed, no fees, no deductions.
Ready-made jewellery — store credit refund within 14 days
Return unworn ready-made jewellery within 14 days of delivery and we'll issue a full store credit you can put toward any future MadisonDia piece.
Custom-made jewellery — made to order, non-refundable
Because each custom piece is crafted just for you, custom orders can't be refunded — which is why we confirm every detail with you before production begins.
IGI certificate review before dispatch. We send your diamond's IGI certificate for your approval before we ship, so you know exactly what you're getting (applies to certified stones of 1 carat and above).
At least 5 alternatives if you're not satisfied. Not happy with the stone? We'll present at least 5 alternatives of the same specification at no extra cost before you decide.
We send your IGI certificate before shipping
Once your order is confirmed, we email your diamond's IGI certificate and full specifications for your review — before anything is dispatched.
Not satisfied? We offer 5+ alternatives
If the diamond doesn't meet your expectations, simply let us know. Our team will present at least 5 alternative stones of equivalent specification for you to consider.
Still not happy? Full cash refund, no fees
If none of the alternatives suit you, we'll process a full refund to your original payment method with no deductions or additional charges.
30 days after delivery — unconditional cash returns
Changed your mind after receiving your diamond? You have 30 days from the delivery date to return it for any reason and receive a full cash refund. The diamond must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
14-day returns for store credit. Return unworn ready-made jewellery within 14 days of the delivery date for a full store credit.
Store credit, not cash. Refunds on ready-made jewellery are issued as MadisonDia store credit rather than to your original payment method — ready to use on any future order.
Original condition required. Items must be unworn and returned with all original packaging and documentation, including the IGI certificate where applicable.
1-year complimentary repair included. Every piece includes one complimentary repair within 12 months of delivery, excluding damage from misuse or accidents.
CAD & photo approval before production begins. We share the CAD design and diamond details with you for sign-off before any crafting starts.
Final photos before shipment. You'll receive photos of your completed piece before it ships, so there are no surprises on arrival.
Custom pieces are non-refundable. As every piece is made to order, custom jewellery cannot be returned or refunded — which is why we have a thorough approval process in place beforehand.
Complimentary repair within the first year. All custom jewellery includes one complimentary repair within 12 months of delivery, excluding damage caused by misuse or accidents.
Store credit is issued to your account as soon as inspection is complete. Cash refund timelines may vary slightly depending on your payment method and bank. We'll notify you by email as soon as your refund has been processed.
Loose diamonds: full cash refund within 30 days of delivery, returned in original condition and packaging with the IGI certificate.
Ready-made jewellery: store credit within 14 days of delivery, unworn, with all original packaging and documentation.
Custom-made jewellery: non-refundable once your order is placed and production begins.
Return shipping costs and tax are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.
Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or damage will not be eligible for a refund or store credit.
